I am a huge Merrell fan having multiple pairs of hiking/trail shoes. I love the support and structure of their shoes. I am greatly disappointed that these shoes had little to no support and were wide and ill fitting. I had been previously impressed with the consistent sizing of this brand. I must also say that I was initially pleased to see less athletic looking shoes from Merrell, but disappointed that these styles did not have the support I have come to expect from this brand. The color and style were attractive and the shoe was light weight. I had thought that these might have better support being a "water shoe" sport type, but not so. Please consider that it is not only athletes and active individuals that like or need support in their shoes. Anyone on their feet all day would benefit from solid support. I hope Merrell will reconsider the lack of arch support in their "casual/dress" shoes.

Comfortable and attractive, this shoe it good for travel. I wore it all around Sicily without any sore feet. Can be worn with socks or without.
