These boots fit as expected, had plenty of cushion, and were very comfortable even the first time I wore them. I would recommend them to people who are going to hike in varied conditions; I could see using these for cold weather even though they were fine for today's early summer trip.

I wanted a pair of boots that were waterproof, had support in the ankle, a good amount of traction on the sole of the boot, and could be used for hiking and long walks. This boot seemed to fit all my requirements and having worn them for one day they seem to deliver. However, I've had to reduce the star rating because unfortunately when the boots arrived they had a defect in the lacing which meant that before I could enjoy them I had to bring them in to have them repaired. If I was still living in the U.S I would have returned them for an exchange, but now that I no longer live in America returning them would have cost more than just bringing them to a cobbler for a quick repair. Bit of a shame. But now that I can lace them I can see that they are a versatile boot that will last.

What a great fitting boot!!! It went from the box to my feet and it was so comfortable and warm. I bought it mainly to walk my dog during winter, but also to hike in Colorado. It took wearing it twice for a few hours each to form to my feet and now I feel like I could wear it all day in comfort. The grass was wet when I walked my dog and my feet stayed warm and dry which is essential when I hike through the 14,000 footers in Colorado. It was a good buy for the money.
