It's taken a few weeks of off/on wearing these shoes to break them in. They are so light and supportive; they're great! They give my feet such good support with the thick sole and great ankle support.I've never had shoes like this and expected them to be heavy, but they're lighter than my sneakers.I haven't gone hiking in them yet, just wearing them daily to break them in; they're super comfortable!I thought they were well priced. I'm really enjoying them and recommend them.I live in jeans and I noticed just yesterday that they look just like sneakers and go with the jeans well.I feel the sizes run true to size, with just a little room at the toes, making it easier to move in them. I ran in them today and there was no pain, discomfort, nothing. Actually felt like I didn't even have shoes on...just flew along the ground.This is the first pair of Columbia shoes I've bought, and I'm thinking I will get more in the future.

Love Columbia hiking shoes. They always fit my feet right out of the box and this pair is no exception. However, this is the first pair that I've gotten that aren't waterproofed already. Fixed with a quick run to the store for some spray waterproofing product but made me have to wait a few more days to wear. Hence the 4 out of 5 score.Kiwi Camp Dry, Heavy Duty Water Repellent, 12oz
