These tap shoes are decent quality, but to say they run big is an understatement. I had my daughter sized for tap shoes, and she's a 9 (an 8 in most regular shoes). I ordered the size 9 and 8 for her to try after reading the reviews about these being large. Even the size 8 was multiple sizes too big. I would guess she could have worn a 5 in these, but I wasn't willing to try again.

The shoes are well made but the shoe size is bigger than a typical 12 size. I will keep them because my daughter plans on taking tap classes for a long time and she will grow into them. Beware the sizing is not accurate.

I ordered these tap shoes for my two year old believing that they were sized for a toddler. I recieved them and they were way too big. I called and explained the problem so the site prompty sent another pair in a toddler size six and sent me the return invoices to send the first pair back. After receiving the second pair I realized that the problem was not with the first pair... the sizing is not accurate. Not at all! These shoes were more like a size 9-10 children. Do not order these if you have a toddler, even though they state that they have toddler sizes.
