I have not worn these out yet, I have only walked around the house in them to get a feel for them. The shoe is slightly larger than average, so your heel may slip in and out while walking, this is while trying them on barefoot. I am siZe 6.5 Medium, and I had to buy heel cushions to make these work.Make sure they are quality cushions with a decent amount of thickness /friction, or you will just slip out of those as well. I felt the shoes were worth keeping as is, because going a half siZe smaller would be to small. Very pretty shoes and so far feel comfortable, easy to walk in. Feels a bit snug around the toes, as if it could use a little more room to relax your toes comfortably, but that is likely to stretch with use. I typically stay away from higher heels because most feel awkward to walk in as a short person (5'2"), but these are great.

They tend to run a little bit bigger for me, but I take 1/2 size down and I`m very pleased. This brand of shoes are the best ones for me.
