If you don't need a firm arch support, these are just great. As another reviewer said, they are a little softer than the original foam Spenco Orthotic. I can use them with some shoes but not with others. I think my perfect insole would be the original Spenco sole from the heel through the arch and then have the gel forefoot for that extra ball of foot cush.

Buying this product for my mother-in-law was a nice choice. She has worn these insoles. The only "but" I find i that there should be seperate size for each person. 5,6,7,8,.... The quality is outstanding, however.
